Prior to Firebolt, Vineet was a Product Director at Google heading PM for Google Play (Android Store) and Google Shopping, growing revenues of both products by several $B.
Before Google, he was a partner at BlueRun Ventures where he led the first investment in Coupa Software (NYSE:COUP) and also early investments in companies like Slide and Radius.
He also co-founded Like.com, which was acquired by Google for over $100
million and laid the foundation for Google Shopping search.
He holds a Masters degree from Cornell and a Bachelors in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur.
Cherian started his career in 2008 at Microsoft as a part of Bing's core web search algorithm team, working on petabyte scale data sets and machine learning algorithms.
Later on, he worked as a VC with Draper Associates and August Capital before starting Firebolt Ventures in 2014 where he made several direct investments and also advised a few large institutional investors on parts of their technology investment strategy.

Early in his career, Gokul grew Google’s AdSense from zero to over $1 billion in revenues. He went on to found Chai Labs, an NLP company which was acquired by Facebook. Gokul then became Product Director for Ads at Facebook - scaling revenues from $0.75 billion to $6.5 billion - before joining Square, where he leads the delivery service Caviar.
